    Best Italian Food    by Amy
    Overall:

Great food, great atmosphere   This is the best Italian restaurant. I went for the first time last year and recently went back where I was proposed to. It is very romantic and the Seafood Alfredo is the best.

Loved your restaurant. Our server was Kristen. She was excellent.

Both Maynard and Dobie would love it

    Overall:

Go down the steep stairwell to the unpretentious black walled basement dining room trimmed in red and green. Go for the romantic candle lit booths (with their own doors) - Go for the delightful piano player (accompanied by the wait staff) - Go to read the graffiti or to add your own - Go for a quiet glass of wine or a delicious meal -- but go --- for a unique dining experience in a world of cookie cutter chains.

Truly outstanding food! The atmosphere is phenomenal and the staff is extremely attentive. The singing waiters are by far the best attraction.

The food was great! My waitress made the night. She had a wonderful voice. Ask for Samantha.

Romantic Place to Take a Date    by Mike Pennington
    Overall:

Underground restaurant that has private dining booths with doors that shut! Very romantic setting- carving your and your loves initials on the table or walls is OK! Singing servers! And absolutely the closest authentic Italian food here in Fort Worth- tastes just like grandmas if you have Italian roots.

Better than I remembered    by a Yahoo! User
    Overall:

It has been YEARS since I have been there. It is the quintessential "date" or "proposal" place ever since I can remember. After getting married many years ago, it dropped from my memory. BIG MISTAKE! I have discovered that not only do wives need to be romanced as much as girlfriends, but the payoff is MUCH greater. My wife and I had a great evening of ambience, dinner AND entertainment combined without having to take out a second mortgage. I was amazed at quality of entertainment throughout the evening. We now plan to return at least once a month (it's a long drive from our home) for a "date" night. In fact, we are taking 10 of our friends there for a get together weekend after next.

Great atmosphere!    By A Yahoo! User
    Overall:

I have been to the Italian Inn 4 or 5 times in the past two years. Every time I have been, it was not crowded, had great food, wonderful Italian margaritas, and excellent service. Several great performances by waiters and waitresses. I don't think you would be disappointed.

Go For the Atmosphere    by seathrun19
    Overall:

It isn't exactly what you would call up scale dining but the atmosphere is great. People have written all over the walls which is either be charming or tacky but the singing wait staff was great. The food wasn't the best Italian I have ever eaten but it also was far from the worst and the prices were reasonable. Give it a try.

Great place for a date    by a Yahoo! Local user
    Overall:

Fun place for a first date. Not very expensive and something a little bit different to do on a Saturday night.

Repeat Customer over 30yrs    by a Yahoo! Local user
    Overall:

I started going to the Inn when I was in high school 30yrs ago. A group of us would meet and enjoy a great dinner before going on to the club. Not much has changed throughout the years and I hope it doesn't. The personality of the place is something you just have to experience and once you do, you will keep going back. From the singing wait staff to the piano player, the private booths, the wonderful food, it's all great, please don't change.

Excellent Food and Great Atmosphere    by a Yahoo! Travel user
    Overall:

I lived in Italy for four years, and I must say that the food here is the closest thing to the old country that I have tasted!

Definitely wanna go back.   by sikoashinchik
    Overall:

It was so cute and cozy. The booths had doors and all the waiters had to have a sort of talent or something, like tap dancing, singing or instrumental playing. And the booths had people's signatures and sort of graffiti but it was really cute.

    SOOO Romantic!!    by marchantkatie
    Overall:

Italian Inn is a great place to go for a romantic evening with your sweetie... just don't expect too much from the food or the service. But the waiters truly do sing and have amazing voices which makes it worth while to go. I love the fact that you can leave your mark on the wall and be able go back years later and sit in that very same booth. This restaurant is and will continue to be a Fort Worth icon!
